Mrs. Annie Mae Foggs was born on May 14, 1951, in Pitt County, North Carolina. She peacefully departed this life on December 23, 2025. Annie attended W.H. Robinson School and later dedicated 30 years of service to Carolina Classic.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel Cherry and Jessie Holden; her husband, Willie Foggs, Sr.; and two brothers, Clifton Cherry and Jesse Cherry.

Annie leaves to cherish her loving memory four sisters: Nellie Holden (Doug) of Kinston, NC; Hattie Barrett of Fuquay-Varina, NC; Pastor Edna Ebron of Winterville, NC; and Brenda Holden of Winterville, NC. She is also survived by three brothers: David Holden of Greenville, NC; William Holden of Kinston, NC; and Joe Cherry of Ayden, NC.

She was a devoted mother to her three children: Annette Foggs of Ayden, NC; Willie Foggs, Jr. (Nicole) of Greenville, NC; and Anthony Foggs (Katrina) of Lenoir County, NC. Annie was blessed with 16 grandchildren including one of her closest grandchildren, Keosha Peterson 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Annie Mae Foggs will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her.

Funeral service will be held Sunday December 28, 2025 2:00pm at Don Brown Funeral Home. Address: 497 Second Street, Ayden, NC 28513 Burial will be held Tuesday December 30, 2025 2:00pm in Homestead Memorial Gardens in Greenville, NC.

Viewing will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
