Anson is survived by is daughters, Alexandria Red Star and Danita Elbow Shield; grandchildren, Aidan Red Cloud and Rena Byrd; wife, Grace Ann Byrd; sisters, Lina Long, Nellie Bald Eagle, Sherry Red Starr and Venus Rodriguez; and brothers, Murray American Horse, Jacob Lord Little Bull and Thomas Red Starr.
Anson was preceded in death by his parents, Neville Clyde Red Starr, Sr. and Gladys Little Bull; sisters, Renita Wince Red Starr, Priscilla Red Starr, Eileen Red Starr and Dawn Torres; and brothers, Neville Red Starr, Jr., Joseph Red Starr, Sr. and Moses Red Starr.
Pallbearers are Aiden Red Cloud, Anthony Red Cloud, CJ, David, Damon, Sancho, Tony Sanchez, Marcus, Jon Squally, Ethan Squally, Derrick Sanchez and Zac Trapp.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends and Family.
Wake Services: Two night wake starting on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Nisqually Youth Center in Olympia, WA
Funeral Services: Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Nisqually Youth Center in Olympia, WA
Burial Services: Nisqually Lechi Cemetery in Olympia, WA
