Anthony Mace, age 36, went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Anthony was an avid bear hunter and a friend to many people as well as a great son, dad, brother and uncle. He would help anyone out that needed him. He loved spending time in the woods with his kids, siblings, and many friends. He will be greatly missed.
He was saved as a teenager and attended Fall Cliff Baptist Church for many years and then joined Tilley Creek Baptist Church.
Anthony is survived by his loving dad and mother, Eddie & Pam Mace, a brother, Steven (Lisa) Mace, a sister, Jessica Mace and his 3 children, Julia Mace, Brayden Mace, and Edison “Boog” Mace, 2 nephews, Weston & Braxton Mace.
Anthony was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larry & Claudine Mace, his maternal grandparents Lee & Rosa Lee Bowers, Uncle Mickey Mace.
There will be a visitation at Appalachian Funeral Home, Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 12 pm – 2 pm. Funeral will begin at 2 pm in the chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Tommy Holden of Fall Cliff Baptist Church and Pastor Caleb Kelly of Tilley Creek Baptist Church.
