Antonia Luna Griggs Obituary

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonia Maria Luna Griggs, known affectionately as Luna, on July 18, 2025. Luna was born on August 31, 2023, in Cleveland, OH to Jeremy Allen Griggs, Sr. and Lauren Ashley Hall. Luna was a bright, courageous light who, in her short time on earth, touched many lives. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song." Luna was just like that bird, singing her own song, a melody of love, strength, and resilience.
Despite her young age, Luna's inspiring spirit made a significant impact. She contributed immensely to research that will help save many lives affected by Auto Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease. Luna was a beacon of hope, a testament to the power of the human spirit, and a symbol of courage. Her loving and sassy nature brought joy to all around her. Luna's greatest achievement was her ability to inspire others with her courage and determination.
Luna is survived by a large, loving family, including her parents, Jeremy Allen Griggs, Sr. and Lauren Ashley Hall of Lorain; siblings, Jeremy Allen Griggs, Jr., Daniel Griggs, Blake Body, Landon Griggs, Elysia Heyman, Bailee Conrad, and Serenity Griggs; grandparents, Daniel (Maria) Adams of Temperance, MI, Thomas (Cathy) Griggs of Sandusky, OH and Denise Taylor of Sandusky, OH; Aunts, Stephanie (Michael) Bogner of Sandusky, OH, Jessica (John) Downing of Norwalk, OH, Savania Taylor of Cleveland, OH, McKenzie Heagney of Fremont, OH, Carol Heagney of Columbus, OH; Uncles, Lyman Griggs of Sandusky, OH, Steven Hall of Bellevue, OH, Wyatt (Madison) Jeager of Fremont, OH, and Ali Mohebi of Sandusky, OH along with several cousins. Luna is preceded in death by her cousin, Adam Hall, and her great grandparents, Dan and Joan Killian, Carol Popke, Thomas Flores and Lyle Boytim.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue, OH. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 10:30am in the funeral home. Entombment will take place in Meadow Green Memorial Park Mausoleum, Huron, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to A Great Big Beautiful Today Organization.
