Ariel Miguel Duchesne, affectionately known as "The Duke," passed away on July 10, 2025, at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Born on January 27, 1944, in New York, New York, Ariel lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and a profound love for his family.
Ariel's professional journey took him through the world of logistics, where he made significant contributions working for Panam Airlines. As a family man and a people person, he built connections with those around him and leaves behind a legacy of love that centers around his proudest accomplishments — his family.
Beyond his professional life, Ariel was vibrant and engaging, often seen playing poker or shooting pool with friends. He cherished the moments spent outdoors, enjoying nature and driving, which brought him joy and relaxation. These hobbies allowed him to connect further with the people he cherished, fostering relationships that enriched his life.

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.
