Arlene M. Crumrine, 83, of Washington, passed away on Friday June 27, 2025, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born on August 30, 1941, in Peoria, the daughter of Clarence and Marie Wenger Reinholtz. She married Eugene Crumrine on June 9, 1963, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington, IL. He passed away on January 20, 2021. One sister, Carol Reinholtz, also preceded her in death
Surviving are one son, Scott (Heidi) Crumrine of Washington; and four grandsons, Moriah (Michelle) Crumrine, Timothy Crumrine, Isaac (Hayley) Crumrine, and Amos (Ahnya) Crumrine. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren.
She dedicated 25 years of her career to working as a secretary for Caterpillar. After her time there, she successfully launched her own antique business, which she truly enjoyed. She and Gene made it a priority to spend their winters in Florida, embracing the warmth and leisure of the season. She was a life long member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington.
While there will be no public services, Arlene's family will privately celebrate her life. Her remains will be placed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Her family invites you to share your favorite stories and memories of Arlene to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name may be given to OSF Richrd L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria or St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting her family with arrangements.
