Graveside service will be on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethsaida cemetery in Union township, Illinois. Memorials may go to the donor's choice.
Arlin was born on December 15,1938, the son of Thomas Daniel Gephart and Violet Woody in Elliotstown, Illinois. Arlin never met a stranger and was known for sitting and drinking coffee striking up a conversation with anyone he met. He loved the outdoors, and spent time hunting, fishing and trapping.
Arlin is survived by his son, David Gephart of Carlsbad, New Mexico; daughters, Sharon Ebell of Los Lunas, New Mexico and Susan Gephart of Henderson, Nevada; grandchildren, Michael Ebell of Los Lunas, New Mexico and Lina Romero of Los Lunas, New Mexico; Great-grandchildren Victoria, Lilah, and Andres Romero, all of Los Lunas, New Mexico; brother, Howard Gephart of Elliotstown, Illinois; sisters, Ada Gossman of Elliotstown, Illinois, Pearl Christianson of Tunnel Hill, Illinois, and Hazel (Richard) Eaton of Plainfield, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Daniel and Violet Gephart; brothers, Ernest Gephart, Glen Gephart, and Floyd Gephart; sisters, Vercelia Inman, Louise Morgret, and Leona Leamons.

my sympathy to Arlin`s family. Arlin and I have been friends for many years. He spent a lot of time with me in the Bow shop keeping me company and telling me all his hunting stories. This photo was from last summer when we went fishing.
