Obituary for Arthur Milner
Arthur Milner, a cherished husband, father, and dedicated family man, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on January 17, 1942, Arthur lived a life filled with love, service, and passion for the simple joys that life offered.
Arthur was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served with honor and distinction, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. His commitment to his country was a testament to his character, and he carried the values of duty and integrity throughout his life.
In his professional life, Arthur specialized in appliance service and repair, with a particular focus on air conditioning. His expertise and dedication to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike. Arthur took great pride in his work, always striving to provide the best service possible.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Arthur found joy in the tranquility of nature, particularly through his love of fishing. Whether casting a line on a quiet lake or sharing stories with family and friends, these moments brought him immense happiness and peace.
Arthur's greatest legacy, however, lies in the love he shared with his family. He was a devoted husband and a nurturing father, always putting the needs of his loved ones first. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A service honoring Arthur's remarkable life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 12 noon, at Hopewell Baptist Church, 1100 Graham Street, Colfax, LA 71417, with public viewing from 11:00 am until the start of the service. Following the service, Arthur will be laid to rest at Farenzie Cemetery, where he will receive Full Military Honors, a fitting tribute to a man who served his country with pride.
Arthur Milner's spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished forever. May he rest in peace.
