Ashley Norris Obituary

Ashley Kay Norris, age 17, of Ramseur was ushered into heaven on December 21, 2025. She was born January 25, 2008 in Randolph County, North Carolina the beloved daughter of Kenneth Patrick Norris and Nicole Lynn Vainavicz Norris.

Ashley will be remembered as a bright and compassionate soul who touched the lives of everyone around her. An honor student at Eastern Randolph High School, she found joy and fulfillment in shop classes, where she excelled in welding-where her creations symbolized her ability to bring pieces together in harmony. Her caring nature was evident in her work at Clapps Nursing Home, where she offered kindness and support to those in need. Her compassion for others shone brightly, making a difference in the lives she touched. Ashley's vibrant personality made her the life of family gatherings, where her laughter and energy filled every room. She cherished spending time with her brothers and her beloved German Shepherd, Benji. Whether on family trips or surrounded by friends, Ashley always prioritized connection and found solace in the company of loved ones. Her spirit was outgoing and full of light, an inspiration to all who knew her. Ashley's legacy is one of love, kindness, and an unwavering zest for life. She leaves behind a tapestry of beautiful memories that will forever warm the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Nicole Norris; father, Patrick Norris; brothers, Aidan Norris and Gervonte Hill; paternal grandparents, Ken and Ann Norris; maternal grandparents, Jeff Vainavicz Sr. and Susan Harrington and husband Mike; great grandmother, Rae Marie Vainavicz; great grandfather, Jim Bouwens; aunts, Shannon Cain and Danielle Smith; uncles, Jeff Vainavicz and Matt Vainavicz; great aunt, Lisa Hill; and numerous cousins, and numerous other beloved family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service, 304 Lanier Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203.
