Audrey Hatfield Obituary

Audrey May (LaCourse) Hatfield, age 95, of Kalkaska passed away on June 24, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on May 5, 1930 in Toledo Ohio to Dora G. (LaFountain) LaCourse. Audrey cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to travel out west and enjoyed going to the casino. She truly enjoyed taking summer vacations with her family up in the Upper Peninsula, where she loved taking long walks along the shore on Lake Michigan. Audrey is survived by her children, Jeff Hatfield and Tammy (Jeff) Woollett; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; Sister-n-laws, Judith (Kenneth) LaCourse and Janice (Raymond) LaCourse. Besides her mother, Audrey was preceded in her death by her husband of 62 years, Louis William Hatfield; daughter Connie Humble; sons Daniel Hatfield; Victor Hatfield; daughter-n-law Donna Hatfield; granddaughter Tina Sowards; brothers Phillip, Charles, Stanley, Kenneth, Raymond and Leonard; sisters Doris Lue, Geraldine LaCourse, and Bonnie Hatfield. Please keep Audrey's family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult and sad time. Per Audrey's wishes, there will not be a funeral or a memorial service. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Kalkaska Long Term Care Facility and Heartland Hospice for their compassion and kindness towards Audrey and her family.
