Audrey Louise Russell, 97, of Florence, formerly of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on July 4, 2025. Visitation will be Monday, July 7, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Florence. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Pentecostal Apostolic Church in South Bend with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. with Garey Beck officiating. The burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
Audrey was a native of South Bend, IN. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church in Waterloo and former member of the Pentecostal Apostolic Church in South Bend. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Drexal Paul "Toad" Russell; son, Jerry Russell; parents, Edna and Butler Smith; brothers, Bimel, Sonny, and Samuel Smith; sisters, Lavolyn Smith, Maunedith Hutchins, Shelby Norris, and Peggy Gentry.
Audrey is survived by her daughters, Patsy Jane Beck (Garey) and Judith Paulette Sharp; sisters, Norma Eulene Wright and Brenda Sue Overholser, both of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Vonda Bevis, Lucinda Wood, Sonya Greene, and Gwendolyn Smith; great grandchildren, Kelsey McCall, Miceala Haynes, Alex Wood, Jarred Bevis, Kristopher Bevis, Aubrie Walker, Logan Greene, Alyssa Smith, Wyatt Greene, and Brianna Smith; and great-great grandchildren Adeline and Tate McCall, Stormie and Preston Bevis, Clara and Sarah Haynes, and one on the way.
Pallbearers are Jarred Bevis, Kristopher Bevis, Alex Wood, Logan Greene, Wyatt Greene, Robbie McCall, and Tyler Haynes.
The family expresses special thanks to Aubrie Walker and Onna Overholser for their outstanding care for "Granny" and Glenwood Center.
