Seneca – Barbara Jean Cannon Lee, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Seneca Health and Rehabilitation, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 2, 1938, in Alabama, Barbara was the daughter of the late Hardy and Lily Cannon. Barbara was a devoted homemaker whose warmth, love, and unwavering dedication created a home filled with comfort, joy, and lasting memories for all who knew her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, carrying forward their legacy with grace and quiet strength.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Denman; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her sons, Robert E. Lee Jr., Jerry Lee, and Terry Lee.
A Private Family Graveside will be held at the Barnes Family Cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are accepted. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
