Funeral services for Barbara Jean Elliott, age 69 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Trinity Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Tony Pitcox officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Elliott was born March 14, 1955 in Seminole to Francis Mae (Greenfield) and Homer Gene Allen. She married Lloyd Leslie Elliott in Seminole on May 20, 1983. She was a Christian and worked as a school bus driver for Seminole ISD. She had two loves in the world other than her family, her bus and her dogs. Barbara enjoyed traveling and never missed a stop at Buc-ee's; she also enjoyed taking girl trips with Kaylee, Khristi, and Sabrina, and collecting owls and Barbie dolls. She enjoyed crocheting when she was younger, and adored animals of all kinds, from deer at the lake to drive-through safaris. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan, but it was her husband who really made her life tick.

Barbara Elliott passed away at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother. She is survived by her husband, Les Elliott of Seminole; three sons, Toby Ervin of Fort Stockton, Texas, Chris Elliott of San Angelo, Texas, and Tony Ervin of Seminole; one daughter, Khristi Shelton and husband Terry of San Angelo, Texas; one sister, Sabrina Braddock of Seminole; and seven grandchildren.
