Barbara Jean Jones, age 84, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025. She was born in Maryville, TN on May 12, 1941 and lived in Lenoir City for most of her early life. She was born to Elmer Leonard Duggan and Gladys Lee Harvey. Barbara started working for Dr. O'Neil, the local eye doctor, straight from high school and stayed in the optometric field for more than 40 years, until retirement.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Tatham, daughter-in-law, Kally Phillips, and grandson, Kallen Phillips; nieces and nephew, Emily Kelley, Doris Malone and Joseph Kelley; cousins, second cousins and many friends.
A celebration of life is being planned for later this summer, to be held at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. clickfuneralhome.com
