Barbara Ann Lebkuecher, born on July 20, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, in Riverhead, New York. She was 88 years old. Barbara lived a full life, marked by the warmth of family and the love of those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Peter Lebkuecher Jr., and her children, Joseph Peter Lebkuecher III and his wife Kathy, as well as James Lebkuecher. Barbara took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Roy (CaraLee) Lebkuecher, Harry Lebkuecher, and Charles Lebkuecher. Her great-granddaughter, Kit Ellen Lebkuecher, brought her immense happiness as well.
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving parents, Joseph Musso and Grace Sion, and her sister, Janet. The legacy of love and strength that Barbara shared with her family will continue to resonate in their hearts.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY, on June 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer service will be held on June 23, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by her burial at Holy Rood Cemetery, located at 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY, at 12:30 PM.
Barbara Ann Lebkuecher will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering love, and the cherished moments she created with her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
