Barbara June Roper, 91, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025. She was born in Cheltenham, England, to William Archibald and Elizabeth Florance Mary Williams on June 8, 1934.
Barbara brought warmth, resilience, and grace to every chapter of her life. She was a devoted full-time mother whose unwavering love and dedication shaped the lives of those around her. Barbara was also a talented knitter and seamstress, known for her beautifully crafted garments.
She was a proud member of the Moose Club, where she found joy in fellowship and giving back to her community.
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Lee Roper; her daughter, Debra Kay Milde; her son, Ronald Ray; sister, Joan; and brothers, Colin and Bill.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Lyn Dubose; sons, Steven Lee Roper, Glenn Eugene Roper, Donald Wayne Roper, and David Allen Roper; sisters, Rita and Valarie; brothers, Bert, Dick, Bob, Alex, and John; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and creativity that will be remembered always by those who knew her.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd., Queen Creek, Arizona, 85142. Barbara will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Riverside National Cemetery in California.
