I have known and was friends with Barbara for a long time! She was a very smart, funny, loving, caring friend. We met through my job at a local bank and she worked for a local Title company. We went through cancer treatments at the same time . We shared a lot through our years of friendship! She always had a great outlook and kept her faith. She will be greatly missed and thought about often . My deepest sympathies for Tom and families!

Barbara was my sister-in-law for over 60 years. I have so many good memories with her. Our "honey- mooners" weekend at the lake, cruising Alaska, or just going to casinos. It was always so much fun. She will definitely be missed.

I met Barbara bowling and we became good friends. We would pick on each other about our bowling mess ups and laugh about silly things that just popped into our heads. She would make sure I could sit by her when we went to the fire department Christmas dinners because I didn't know many others there. And we always joked about our first names because people would shorten our names when we told them our proper name. There is so much more about Barbara that I could share but most of all I will miss my friend. It just won't be the same without her.

Barbara has been one of the most memorable patients that I have taken care of and I was always excited to see her on my patient assignment list. We shared many laughs about bodily functions and often referred to flatulence as "stinkers". It was wonderful getting to know her and her daughter, Kerry. Sending love and prayers to the Schweiger family. May she rest in peace
