Mrs. Barbara J. Shawler, age 73, of Salem, passed away Sunday, June 29 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.
Mrs. Shawler was born March 20, 1952, in Gallipolis, Ohio, the daughter of Rodger Long and Helen Murrah Goen. She was a beautician,
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Shawler, and her parents.
She is survived by two sons: W.K. Goen of Salem and Michael Shawler of Demorest, Georgia, and three granddaughters: Ally Goen, Bella Goen, and Abigail Shawler.
Cremation was chosen and a visitation will be held Thursday, July 3 from 4-7PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
