Beatrice Lemon Hicks, 87, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, Florence, SC. She was born August 30, 1937, in Clarendon County South Carolina. A daughter of the late Bacchus and Florence Lemon Gibson.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.
Celebratory services for Ms. Hicks will take place 11:00 AM Thursday, July 17, 2025, from the Spring Hill AME Church, 4309 Bill Davis Rd, Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Ms. Hicks will lie in repose one hour prior to service.
