Bartonville- Beatrice Jones, of Bartonville, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Hawthorne Manor of Peoria. She was born in Russellville, Alabama, a daughter of Dewey and Goldie (Hall) Jones. She married Clifford Jones on January 9, 1963 in Bureau County, Illinois. He preceded her in death.
Also, preceding Beatrice in death were her parents, son, Cliff Allen Jones, brothers, James B. Jones, Clayton C. Jones, Billy J. Jones, Morgan Jones; sister, Agnes Ann Jones, and one great-grandson.
Surviving are her children, Patricia Smith of Naperville; Linda (Steven) Leech of Bartonville; Kathy (Daniel) Walraven of Hanna City, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She worked and retired from Caterpillar, Inc after 26 years of service, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Caterpillar Retirees Club, U.A.W. Member, Avon Collectors Club, and the V.F.W of East Peoria.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Spring Bay Cemetery. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville also on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Transitions Hospice, or to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
