Beatrice Ann Whiting, 88, of Pinellas Park, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 11:37 P.M., at St. Anthony's Hospital.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to St. Petersburg, FL. in 1967 from Queens, New York. She loved her family, puzzles, reading, and her little dog Mia.
She was an insurance claims adjuster at United General Life Insurance Company for 15 years. She then worked at Northside Hospital as a claims adjuster for approximately 10 years. She loved to help people so much that she started working at the local assisted living facility where she fit right in. She then went on to volunteer at a Hospice Thrift Store in St. Petersburg.
She is survived by a son, Robert French (Sharon), four daughters, Debbie Sherrill (Nelson Velez), Kathy Munson, Sandra Burdick (Neal), and Donna Fifer, (Craig); a brother Richard DeMonico; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by a life-long best friend, Evelyn Spiegel of New York and also a longtime friend Joanne Tartaglione of New York.
She was preceded in death by a brother Ronald DeMonico.
