Becky Tribble Covey, 76, of Midlothian, VA passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her sister's home of natural causes. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Covey was born on February 28, 1949, in Elizabethton, TN, the daughter of the late Luther Stanley and Mary Frances Pace Tribble. Becky graduated from CCHS in 1966, where she was the valedictorian. After graduation, she went on to attend Austin Peay State University, and she continued her education at the College of William & Mary, where she received her bachelor's degree and then on to receive her MBA. Becky was a Financial Analyst for the Virgina State Legislature. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Glen Corey in 2016; her son, Travis Alexander Corey in 2010 and her brother, Luther Stanley (Bun) Tribble, Jr in 1993.
She is survived by her brother, Steve (Shelley) Tribble of Hopkinsville; and her sister, Mary Lynn (Steve) Worsham of Hopkinsville; her nephew, Kyle (Alicia) Underwood; her nieces, Leigh (John) Durden, Allison (Jeff) Glodoski, Linsey Trask and Stephanie Wick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Ave, Hopkinsville, KY 42240., Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-Virginia Chapter, 7202 Glen Forest Dr., #102, Richmond, VA 23226.
