Benjamin (Ben) W. Brown, 94, of Tomahawk, WI passed away peacefully in his home on June 29, 2025. Ben was born on November 22, 1930 in Tomahawk, the son of John and Vesta (Brown) Brown. He married the love of his life Ida M. Zerbe on December 10, 1960 in Tomahawk and she preceded him in death September 3, 2021. Ben served in the National Guards and worked at Tomahawk Power & Pulp before starting Brown’s Amusement business in 1959, which operated until his death.

Ben is survived by his five children, Steve (Kim) Brown; Lisa Ammerman; Kevin (Beth) Brown; Darwin Brown; Lorna (Jeff) Fisher all of Tomahawk. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; his siblings, Norman (Irene) Brown; Jerry Brown; Richard Brown; Harry (Lillie) Brown; Ruby (Buss) Schoone; Marion Coey; Betty Swarmer and many nieces and nephews.

Ben is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ida; his parents and 2 siblings, Vesta and David all of Tomahawk.

A Celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 6th at Nokomis Town Hall, 32541 Lake Nokomis Rd, Tomahawk, WI. Visitation 11 to 12. A brief service at 12 followed by a luncheon and sharing memories.
