Nell Henderson, 89, of Dublin Tx passed away June 25, 2025, at Hico Nursing and Rehab.
Nell Henderson born Bertha Juannell Bevers January 2, 1936, to Herbert McKinley Bevers and Bertha
Mae (Holmes) Bevers in Tahoka, Tx. She had 2 siblings: Clifford A. Bevers and Joyce (Bevers) Pettit.
She was the youngest child. In her lifetime, she was a good mother, aunt, Grandmother, friend and confidant. Her job at Albertsons lasted 25 years until retirement. Gene and Mom were members of First Methodist Church Bangs for 55 years.
Those who preceded her in death are her parents, Gene Henderson- husband, Joe Halford- son, Clifford Bevers- brother, and Joyce Pettit- sister.
She is survived by her sons Craig Halford, Bobby Hudnall and daughters Jan Eiland, Cerena Suarez and Kelly Ives.
There are 15 Grandchildren: Jody Halford, Jill Weir, Nick Castilleja, Justin Eiland, Andrew Eiland, Aaron Eiland, Jacob Eiland, Cole Halford, Jennifer Halford, Kevin Ives, Rachel Jordan, Jamie Ives, Matthew Suarez, Kayla Suarez and Brandi Eisenmann. There are 25 Great Grandchildren and 26 Great Great Grandchildren. Also, nieces and nephews and a host of friends who graced her life with love and friendship.
We would like to thank Hico Nursing Home, Wings Over Texas Hospice, Care in Early and their staff for their contribution to her daily care and love for our Moma.
The family will hold a visitation Thursday, July 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood. The Funeral Service will be Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. at the 1st Methodist Church in Bangs with Wayne Lewis officiating and Kenneth Fitzgerald assisting. Interment will be at the Bangs cemetery immediately after the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
