Beth Arden Floyd, a dedicated healthcare nurse and beloved member of her community, peacefully passed away on July 10, 2025, in Commerce, Georgia, at the age of 83. Born on December 8, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas, Beth was a nurturing and compassionate figure whose career in nursing reflected her unwavering commitment to caring for others.
As a healthcare nurse, Beth touched the lives of countless individuals, providing comfort and support during their times of need. Her presence in the medical field exemplified her deep empathy and dedication, making her not only a caregiver but also a friend to those she encountered.
Beth was known for her warmth and kindness, qualities that extended beyond her professional life and into her cherished family relationships. She is survived by her son, Jack Floyd, and her daughter, Bonnie Dunsworth, along with her grandchildren, Bobby Dunsworth, David Floyd, and Justin Floyd. Beth was also a proud great-grandmother to Charlie Floyd, who brought her immense joy.
Preceding her in death were her beloved parents, Jack and Beverly Bedford Burge, and her devoted husband, Lynn Floyd. The memories they created together will forever be held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Beth Arden Floyd will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for the love and light she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she instilled in those around her.
