LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Betty Moseley Adams, age 70, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 26, 1954, a daughter of the late Coleman Moseley and the late Sarah Frances Hornsby Moseley and was the wife of the late William Randy Adams. Mrs. Adams loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a cosmetologist for over 20 years. After retirement, she enjoyed shopping, reading books, and writing. She was a member of Zamar Church and loved her church family.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her son, Randy Adams; her daughter, Kim Stacks (Bo-Bo); her two grandchildren, Kristen Wallace (Kolton) and Kaleb Stacks; her three brothers, Pete Moseley, Bobby Moseley (Brenda), and Richard (Lorrie); her three sisters, Peggy Helms, Lucy Jordan, and Shirley Beckham; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Randy Adams; her parents, Coleman Moseley and Sarah Moseley; and her twin sister, Mary Moseley.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Adams will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 23, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Marvin Tennant. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Zamar Church at 542 Lancaster Bypass E. Lancaster, SC 29720.
