Betty J. Albrecht, age 69, passed away peacefully with the family by her side on Friday May 23, 2025, the daughter of Ivan and Marion (Nickel) Gray.
Betty was born on September 21st, 1955, at Saint Francis Freeport IL. She married the love of her life Timothy Albrecht June 16, 2005
She worked at multiple manufacturing companies in the area. She ran her own daycare for five years where she met a lot of kids and to this day some still call her mom. She delivered the Freeport journal standard for 18 years and the last five years before retiring she spent at Honeywell in freeport il.
In the summertime she enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and fishing and most of all camping with her grandchildren and her four-legged friends Charlie and Tank. In the fall she enjoyed the color change in the trees, canning, making cookies for everybody for Christmas.
Betty is survived by her husband of 19 years Timothy Albrecht of Pearl City, IL; two sons Cory (Stephanie) Fletcher of Monroe, WI and Jeremy (Bobbie Trost) Fletcher of Monroe, WI; one stepson Nick (McKenzie Milestone) of Shullsburg, WI; two stepdaughters Monica Albrecht of Pearl City, IL and Lynn (Blake Redfearn) Albrecht of Elizabeth, IL; twelve grandchildren- Blaine, Taylor Kaeylyn, Rory, Layla, Ganon, Cora, Corbin, Nick, Cayden, Payton, and Emmie; brother Paul (Tammy Cheeser) Gray of Warren, IL; sister Marie (Mark) Senn of Monroe, WI and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sharon Gray and brother David Gray.
The family would like to thank SSM hospital of Monroe and Madison WI for the care they provided for Betty.
Visitation will be held Friday May 30th at Leamons Funeral Home in Lena IL from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday May 31st in the Chapel at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL.
