Betty Allen (nee Wopicka) age 95, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon.
Loving mother of Richard (Mary Ellen), David (Beverly), and Ronald (Deborah). Grandmother of Daniel, Rory, Michael, and Christopher. Great grandmother of four.
She adored and was extremely proud of her brother, Richard, who died as a war hero during the D-Day invasion in WWII.
Betty was an excellent bowler and Betty was an excellent golfer well into her 80's. She learned to play bridge in her 90's. She was fun to talk with and to be around.
She lived her whole life in North Olmsted and North Ridgeville and spent the last 6 years living at Brookdale Independent Living and Assisted Living.
She made the world a better place. She will be missed.
Family and friends will gather at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Rd. Westlake 44145. on Saturday February 1st from 2 PM-3PM, with a memorial service at 3:00PM
