was elected Mayor of Willcox, serving two terms. She was active in the Jr. Women's Club, Jr.
Women's Club, Lambda Chi Omega AZ Beta Sorority, and remained a devoted member of the
United Methodist Church throughout her life.
After the passing of her beloved husband, Arnold in 1989, Betty found love again and married
Marvin Schumacher in 1991. Upon retiring, they enjoyed traveling and shared many wonderful
adventures together.
Betty is survived by her children: Kevin (Ruthann) Fewell, Kory (Melissa) Fewell, and Kim (Joe)
