Betty Jo Foster, 68 of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Rosiclare, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at her residence.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Bethel Christian Church in Kevil, KY with Pastor Nate Hillebrand officiating.
Betty was retired from Arrowleaf in Rosiclare after 15+ years and a member of Bethel Christian Church. She loved sitting in the sun, listening to music and being with her large, loving family whom she adored.
Betty is survived by her children, Misty June Foster, Randy Mack Foster; Jennifer Gail Foster (Luis Barron), and Zachariah Lee Foster (Dixie); grandchildren, Kaitlynn Williams (Adam Powell), Lillie Foster, Aliscia Barron, Vanessa Barron, Diana Barron, Isaac Barron, Zahn Foster, Stephanie Foster and Jasmine Foster; great grandchildren, Javier and Xavier Juarez; two brothers, Kenny Cowsert and Billy Cowsert; nieces and nephews, Gretchen Smock (Nathan), Nathaniel Foster, Charlie Foster, Randy Lynn Foster, and Candy Booth; and great nephews, Camden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence "Turnip Seed" and Loveless Cowsert; husband of 47 years, Randy Mack Foster; infant daughter, Jodie Ray Foster; sister, June Cowsert; brother, Butch Cowsert and infant brother, Dennis Wayne Cowsert.
A visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8th at the church.
