Private family services will be held at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Milo with burial at the Belmont Cemetery where Betty will be laid to rest next to her parents.

Memorials in Betty's honor may be made to Mosaic in Central Iowa, 11141 Auroa Ave Building 3, Urbandale, IA 50322-7904.

Betty Ann Herberger was born August 12, 1947, to Walter and Ferne Herberger in Newton, Iowa. She was raised alongside her sisters: Linda and Sue.

Betty was loved by so many! She enjoyed stringing bead necklaces to give to friends and family. She loved puzzles, magazines, coloring, movies, shopping, and car rides. Her favorite outings were going to the zoo, to a park, boat rides, and picnics. No outing was complete without a stop at McDonald's for a Happy Meal and Strawberry Sundae!

Betty loved her family, especially her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She collected many pictures of them. Birthday parties and Christmas were terrific times for Betty; she loved all the presents and everyone being together.

Betty had a deep faith and loved Jesus. She passed away at home on July 29, 2025, at the age of 77 years. Betty's family is extremely grateful to the Mosaic Group Home where she lived, they provided a home full of love and exceptional care; and also, to Unity Point Hospice who provided amazing comfort to Betty during her last week.

Preceding Betty in death were her parents: Walter and Ferne; half-brother, Walter Herberger Jr., and brother-in-law Don Pierce. She will be greatly missed by her sisters: Linda Pierce of Milo and Sue Becker of Grand River.
