Betty Trew Taylor, 93, of Ringgold, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Ringgold, GA. She was born on June 20, 1932, to the late Walter Lee and Lena Trew in Ringgold. Betty graduated from Ringgold High School was a secretary for her class and they would meet monthly. She worked for U.S. Department of Agriculture as an administrative assistant for many years. Betty worked with DuPont for many years, as well. She was a Deacon's wife and was active in the Salem Valley Baptist Church for many years and the Salem Valley Community Club. Betty loved to travel the world with her husband, Marshall. She spent her final years spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by husband, Marshall Ray Taylor; her sister, Helen Ware; and her brother-in-law, Larry White.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Trew (Connie) Taylor; her grandchildren, Soucci, Breelie (Alexander), Keelee (Isaac), Trewcci, Avve and Vivvi; her siblings, James (Tilda) Trew, Richard (Doris) Trew, and Sandra White; and several nieces and nephews

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home in Rossville, GA. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Ringgold, GA.
