Funeral services for Betty Woodard, age 86 of Denver City, Texas, formerly of Seminole, Texas, will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Denver City Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Skip Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery in Seminole. All services are under the direction of Boyer Memorial Chapel of Denver City, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Mrs. Woodard was born April 13, 1939 to Ora (Cagle) and Floyd Renfro. She married Edd Woodard in Seminole, Texas on February 14, 2001. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She had managed trailer parks and apartment complexes, and worked as office manager for Boyer Funeral Home for eight years; she was a hard-working woman. Betty was a very dedicated caregiver to her husband and loved her little dog, Sadie. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt.

Betty Woodard passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Shinnery Oaks Nursing Home in Denver City, Texas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Scheller, her second husband, Glenn Tongate, and her third husband, Edd Woodard; three brothers, Leonard, John, and Paul Renfro; and one sister, Lois Boyer. She is survived by one daughter, Melinda Campbell and husband Damon of Kingwood, Texas; two stepsons, Jerry Woosley and wife Debra of Denver City, Texas, and Larry Woosley and wife Brenda of Odessa, Texas; two stepdaughters, Connie Bronniman and husband Weston of Colorado, and Rita Ann McKaughan of Blanket, Texas; twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
