NORTH ENGLISH-Beverly Miller, age 87, of North English, died Friday, September 26, 2025, at Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg.
Beverly was born September 4, 1938, near North English, the daughter of Lynn and Helen (Ebelsheiser) Harris and graduated from English Valleys High School in 1956. On October 6, 1957, she married Richard Dean Miller at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. The couple lived and farmed in the North English area. In addition to working hard alongside Dick, Beverly also cleaned houses and cooked at the EV Care Center. She was a member of the Champion Hill United Methodist Church and the Red Hats. Beverly enjoyed cooking “Chris Kringles,” taking bus trips with Dick and their west and east coast travels. She was always available to attend her kids’ and grandkids’ activities.
Survivors include her daughter: Holly (Philip) Osweiler of Williamsburg; son: Brad (Monica) Miller of North English; two granddaughters: Rachel (Zach) Benson of Cedar Falls and Chelsea (Spencer) Sones of Ottumwa; three great grandchildren: Bridget Sones, Harper Benson and Blakely Benson and brother: Lowell Harris of Atlantic. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Dick; grandson: Parker Miller and sister-in-law: Joyce Harris.
Private family burial will be held at Champion Hill Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation.
