Obituary of Beverly Ann Supino

Beverly Ann Supino, the daughter of Gerrit and Alice Parmelia (Hawkins) Vander Leest, was born March 5, 1939, in Colfax, Iowa. Bev attended Newton Senior High School.

On October 15, 1955, Bev was united in marriage with Carlo Supino in Newton, Iowa. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and devoted grandmother. Bev enjoyed bowling with the ladies. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Bev died on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Edencrest Green Meadows in Johnston, Iowa. Bev was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Chris Supino; her son, Carlo C. Supino; her sisters, Delores McMaster, Janet Eilander, Shirley Harris; her brothers, James Vander Leest, Robert Vander Leest.

Those left to honor Beverly's memory include her husband, Carlo J. Supino; her son, Tim Supino; her daughters, Terri Rudsell, Wendy (Tommy) Supino; Annie (Chris) Mielke; her eight grandchildren; her seven great grandchildren; her three great-great grandchildren; her sister, Roberta Lewis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Pence Reese Funeral Home in Newton, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. A Facebook Live broadcast will begin at 11:00 a.m. on the Pence Reese Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook page. Memorials may be directed to Adventures in Social Development and may be left at the funeral home.
