Beverly “Diane” Whitaker, age 77 of Erin, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Heights Cemetery.
The Whitaker family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
Diane entered this life on December 29, 1947 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late Edsel Ford Gray and Edith Maureen Jones Gray.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dwight Whitaker; and infant son, Darren Gray Whitaker.
Survivors include her loving children, Brad Whitaker (Emma), Marcus Tate Whitaker (Emily Weakley Northcliffe), Jessica Dawn Hardin; and brother, Donald Jones Gray. Diane also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Taersa Taylor, Andrew Hunter Whitaker, Hannah Whitaker, LaBrea Boykin; step-grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, Alisha Harvey; great-grandchildren, Zayne Taylor; and step-great-grandchildren, Jermey Selph Jr, Autumn Elkins, Clara Taylor, and Bryton Harvey.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
