Gentry, MO: Bill Rex Murphy, 91, Gentry, MO passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his home.
He was born on February 15, 1934, in Alanthus, Missouri the son of William Ralph and Dorothy (Goucher) Murphy.
On June 28, 1958, he married Carol Ann Siewert in Michigan. She survives of the home.
Bill served in the United States Army and farmed in Gentry County, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jean Stolee and Mary Updegraff; and brothers, George and Bob Murphy.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Larry (Ginger) Murphy, Dennis Murphy, Billy Murphy, Connie Murphy (Larry Schubert), Michael (Carla) Murphy, Dale (Annette) Murphy; sisters-in-law, Margot Murphy and Twila Murphy; brother-in-law, John Stolee; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry, MO. Burial will follow in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 153, Stanberry, MO 64489.
