Billie Carter

Billie Ann Carter, age 72, of Greeneville, passed away early Sunday morning at Greeneville Community Hospital, after fighting an aggressive battle with cancer.

She was a 1971 graduate of South Greene High School. Billie Ann was a retired educator's assistant and previously worked many years at Greene Valley Developmental Center. She was a very active member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include daughter, Christa (David) Noe; son, Brandon (Jessica) Carter; grandsons, Gavin Noe, Landon Noe, Logan Carter; nieces, Lori (Nathan) Reynolds, Michelle (Dale) Keffer, Susan Crum, Carol Squillante, and Stacy Reed; nephew, Steve (Dena) Reed; many great nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Brenda Crum, Linda Radford, Carol Lee (Don) Reed; brother-in-law, Dan (Ruby) Carter; aunt, Betty Davis; close friends, Mike and Ann Laposky and family.

Billie Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Irving and Eva Ruth Crum; brother, Larry Crum; sister, Carolyn Hembree; an infant sister, Linda Ruth Crum; late husband, Randy Carter; and first late husband, Dutch Lear.

Celebration of Life will be held July 19th at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The receiving of friends and family will be 2:00-4:00pm. Service will follow at 4:00 with Rev. Nathan Reynolds officiating. Graveside services will follow, with Rev. Tammy Green officiating.

So sorry for your loss. Billie Ann was such a sweet person, always with that beautiful smile. She was a co-worker at Greene valley! She was a joy to be around! Prayers for her family.
