Billy Garner Obituary

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Teresa (Moore) Garner, his two loving daughters: Leah Robertson, and April Klepper along with his sons-in-law: Damon Robertson and Monty Klepper who he truly considered his own sons. To also cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Colby (Holly) Robertson, Micah (Stephanie) Robertson and Hope Caroline Klepper, and great grandchildren Graham, Whit, Emilie and Jack Robertson. His brother Ron (Rosalie) Garner and sister-in-law Dorotha Rice as well a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive him.
After graduating from Red Oak High School in 1959, Bill earned his Bachelor's degree at Oklahoma State University and Master's degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. He worked several years as a teacher, then ultimately found his calling as a counselor for the Oklahoma State Department of Rehabilitation. His life's work was all about serving others. He was a lifelong member of Red Oak First Baptist Church where he could be found teaching, mentoring and helping any way he could. Bill's spirit will be deeply missed, and his impact will be remembered by the countless lives he touched.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, June 18th, at 11:00 AM at Red Oak First Baptist Church. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill's Sunday School class, Eddie Davis, and Cliff Carpenter.
