Billy Hathcock Obituary

Born on January 27th, 1947, Billy was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and love for family. He retired from Fleetwood Mobile Homes after many years in maintenance., where he was respected for his skill and dedication. Outside of work, Billy found his greatest joy in fishing and restoring old vehicles, passions that brought him peace and pride throughout his life.
Billy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly Steed Hathcock: two daughters Caron Hathcock Graziosi and Tammy Tate: one brother, George Hathcock: one sister, Mary Jane Allen: seven grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren: and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, H.T. Hathcock and Shirley Aldridge Hathcock: three brothers, Davis, Jimmy, and Buddy Hathcock: and his daughter, Sandy Gilbert.
Billy's life was marked by quiet strength, deep love for his family, and a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at Brister Cemetery, West, MS at noon on Friday August 1st, 2025 under the direction of Mortimer Southern Funeral Home, Lexington.
