Billy Joe Minshall, a man of unwavering passion and unshakeable love, passed away peacefully in his home on June 19th, 2025, surrounded by the family he cherished. Born on November 24, 1959, Bill lived a life that was a testament to the power of love, loyalty, and adventure. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Dorothy Minshall, brother, Delbert Minshall, and his first wife, Robin LaFountain, with whom he shared three incredible children,.
In 1995, Bill's life took a profound turn when he met his true love, Nicole Snyder. Their bond was unbreakable, and they later married, building a life filled with laughter, tears, and countless memories. Bill is survived by his devoted wife Nicole, his children Peggy Minshall, Paige Strate, Billy Joe Minshall, and Bobbi Jo Krick, as well as his grandchildren Gracie, Tristin, Savannah, Addi, Aili, Marley, and Ripp, and his great-granddaughter Willow Jean. His mother in law, Karen Snyder and siblings, Rhonda, Vicky, Robin, Denice, Nate, Marcie, and Terry, will deeply miss the man who was always there for them.
Bill's heart was full of love for his family, and he showed it in countless ways. He was a master storyteller, a passionate hunter, and a talented musician who loved to pick guitars with friends and family. As a millwright, he spent most of his life fixing and building, but his greatest creations were the memories he made with those he loved. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he would stop at nothing to provide for and protect them.
Bill lived life on his own terms, with a spirit that was both wild and free. He'd jump on his Harley, grin from ear to ear, and ride off into the sunset, feeling alive and carefree. His famous sayings, "Dilligaf" and "Ain't nothin' but a thing," reflected his irreverent humor and unapologetic approach to life. But beneath his tough exterior lay a heart of gold, a soul that was kind, accepting, and loving.
Bill's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will be a blessing to those who loved him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest, to love without condition, and to cherish every moment with those we hold dear. Until we meet again, Bill's wild heart and adventurous spirit will remain in our memories forever.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, June 30, 2025, 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Orangeville Township Hall. Please visit www.williamsgoresfuneral.com to share a memory or to leave a condolence message for Bill's family.
