Billy Sanders Obituary

Assistant Fire Chief Billy Greenberry Sanders, age 31, of Eucha, Oklahoma, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his residence in Eucha, Oklahoma. He was born on April 11, 1994 in Grove, OK to his parents, Larry and Lana Sanders.
Billy attended Jay High School in Jay, OK. He then went to Welding School at Northeastern Vo Tech. Later Billy received his Towing Recovery License. Along with being the Assistant Fire Chief for Disney Fire Department. In 2019 he received an award being the Firefighter of the year. While being a hard-working firefighter, he also had his own successful business in lawn care called Hot Shot Lawn Care. Billy was very proud of his business and worked very hard to build it, one client at a time, along with many long hours and hard work to be successful. He was a jack of all trades too. So, Billy could do just about anything he set his mind to and accomplished it successfully. In Billy's down time he loved to go camping, cooking, grilling, rock crawling in his RZR, spending quality time with his family and trot lining. Most of all his passion was his family. Everything he did, he did for them. He loved his wife and kids dearly. They were his World! Our Billy will be forever missed and never forgotten. His memory will always remain alive and honored with his family, friends and his First Responders Family. We love you and we know we will be together again Eternally with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Billy is preceded in death by his Papa William (Bill) Sanders; Niece Brooklyn Sanders; Nanny Janet Metcalf; Dear friend Bill McClelan and his Great Grandparents.
Billy is survived by his loving wife Stormie Sanders of the home; 2 sons Blaze & Ryker Sanders of the home; Daughter Rebecca Sanders of Langley, OK; Grandmother Sandy Sanders of Jay, OK; Parents Larry and Lana Sanders of Langley, OK; Siblings Kelly and husband JoJo of Jay, OK, Larry and Tori of Tiajuana, OK, Steven and wife Heather of Disney, OK; Mother-In-Law Rickie Hatzenbuehler of Pensacola, OK; Father-In-Law Doug Hatzenbuehler of Pensacola, OK; 2 Brother-In-Laws River and fiancé Bailey Weaver of Cleora, OK and Joey Hatzenbuehler of Pensacola, OK; Cousin Ralph Sanders of Jay, OK; Best friend Jamie and wife Nikki of Ketchum, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and his First Responders Family.
Billy's Celebration of Life Family Visitation to greet friends will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at Mount Hermon Church, 42040 S. 670 Rd, Jay, OK 74346.
Billy's Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 11:00am, July 8, 2025 at Mount Hermon Church, 42040 S. 670 Rd, Jay, OK 74346 with Pastor Daryl Lee officiating.
Billy's service will conclude at the church.
