Birgit Helga (Soderblom) Pearson passed away on June 29, 2025 in Boise, ID. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 20, 1936 and raised in Chicago as well. It was in Chicago that Birgie married Delmar Ivar Pearson they moved to Montana but after several years they divorced. When Birgie's children and grandchildren moved to Idaho she missed them so much that she sold her house and moved to Idaho in 1997 so she could watch her grandchildren grow into fine adults. She had many different jobs but all had contact with people, she definitely was a people person. While living in Plentywood, MT, she cooked at Pioneer Manor Retirement Home. In Boise, ID she worked at DirectTV in customer service and most recent at Teed Elementary School as a lunch lady. As a young woman Birgie love to bowl, in her older years it was crochet that she enjoyed but swimming was always her favorite.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bertil Carl Soderblom, and parents, Carl Valentine and Helga Christina Soderblom.
She is survived by her son, Glen Carl Pearson and his wife, Melodie and their children: Waylon Carl and his wife, Casandra; daughters: Kalyn and Emme, Jenny Lyn and her son, Evan. She is also survived by her daughter, Gale Christina Millspaugh and her husband, Brad, and their daughter, Samantha Jo her husband, Matthew and daughter, Sylvia.
"The Heavens opened and the angels beckoned to me so I didn't feel at home in this world anymore. I'm going where the load will be lifted and get a new heart with no sin, no sorrow and no selfishness. There will be no more pain, broken homes, broken hearts, broken bodies and no more wars or tears. What a day it will be when I see my Father's face and be forever with the one who died for me."
Heaven is the finish line, THE ULTIMATE PRIZE.
A service to celebrate Birgie's life will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com.
