Graveside service for Bobbie Faye (Williams) Edge, age 89, of Talco, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Talco Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Ms. Edge passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 in Pittsburg, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones.
Bobbie was born on September 16, 1935, in Mt. Vernon, Tx. She had fond memories of attending Talco High School and was a proud member of the Talco Church of Christ. Her final occupation was as a custodian at Rivercrest ISD where she came to love all the children and their parents during her tenure. She was once a talented seamstress and loved to be on the go even if it was just to the local restaurants where she loved eating out. Most of all, Bobbie was famous for and will be remembered for her mini corndogs.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her Grandparents Vernon and Nettie Williams of Talco, her Aunt Katie Inez Meeks of Cleveland, Tn, Sister Ruby Evellyn Elliott of Mt. Pleasant, Niece Christiana Martin of Mt. Pleasant, Parents Olen and Ella Williams of Talco, Son Robert Lynn Edge of Talco, Daughter Deannia Kay Edge of Ft Worth, and Son Roger Glen Edge (Bubba) of Talco.
She is survived by her Aunt Frankie Williams Glaze of Gilmer, Sister Sharon and her husband Wayne Warren of Georgetown, Daughter and Son-in-law Billie and Tim Neal of Ft. Worth, Daughter and Son-in-law Jeannie and Terry Williams of Pittsburg. Bobbie had and loved 9 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. They are as follows: Dr. Robbi Franklin of Nashville, Summer Weeks and Steven Vanginault of Mt. Vernon, Jessie Neal of Ft. Worth, Brent and Charity Williams of Bogata, Lindsey Neal of Chattanooga, TN, Cassee Wilcox and Dante Craddock of Mt. Pleasant, Lacye and Jimmy Wilton of Haslet, Calan Wilcox of Chickasha, Ok, Jordan Edge and Jasmine Shaw of Talco, Madison Edge of Oklahoma City, Ok, and Robert Edge of Dangerfield. Her Great Grands: Mori, Ava, Stevie, Kingston, Evan, Gavin, Ethan, Presley, Rhett, Nyxen, Skeet, Dedo, Keylan, Draxton, Dashlyn, D’Eric, D’Asia, Hartley, Easton, Remy, Callee, Luna, Zadie, Zayden, and Great-Great-Grands: Alyzah, Daxton, Keivon, Nylah. She also had numerous nieces and nephews who she spoke of and loved very much.
