Bobby was born to Freddie and Oma Bishop on July 15, 1934. He was a hardworking man who loved and cherished his family dearly. Bobby loved to work with his hands as he could often be found wood working. Bobby was a committed and faithful member of the Old Union Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held at the Old Union Baptist in Haleyville, Alabama on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. where a funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Brother Venlon Bradford will Officiate. Burial will take place in the Old Union Church Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 64 years, Laura Scogin Bishop; daughter, Rebecca Bishop Reynolds and her husband Jeff; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Ray Bishop; parents, Freddie E. and Oma King Bishop; and sisters, Wilma Cagle and Laura Englebert.
