Bobby “Bob” Gordon Boling, 83, of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. He was born in Union County, NC on August 25, 1941, son to the late Reverend TM and Beaulah Boling. He is also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Louise, Hugh, Tommy, James, Beaulah, Allen and Gary.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, August 7, 2025, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow at Lucy Helms Cemetery, 4316 Hillcrest Church Rd. Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Gordon Funeral Service from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Kelly Purser Boling, son Dennis Boling (Mandy), brother David Boling, sister Betty Sossamon, grandchildren Samantha Boling, Cody Boling, Sutton Herlocker, Avery Herlocker and great grandchild Bristol Boling.
