Bobby Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miles J. Kimble Mortuary & Cremation on Jun. 3, 2025.
Bobby Joe Brown was born on January 26, 1950, to Robert Brown and Lillie Mae White in Fresno, California.
As a young child, he moved to Forrest City, Arkansas, where he was lovingly raised by his grandparents, James and Geneva White. Bobby became a dedicated member of Prosperity Missionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully for many years as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and Usher.
He worked at Reltoc Manufacturing for over 20 years, and later at Airtherm. After retiring, Bobby continued his love of service through a position with Executive Cleaning Services (ECS), working in the Forrest City School District. He adored the children and was often greeted with cheerful calls of "Heeeey, Mr. Brown!"
Bobby attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the Class of 1967. He held a deep love for his classmates and remained in close contact with many of them. Whenever reunion time came around, he would dress to impress and say to his cousin, "Check me out!"
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Helen Brown; his grandparents; aunts Virginia Peacock and Bernadine White; and his brother and sisters in-law Ruby Williams, Margaret Russell, and Larry Russell.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Keith Brown of Forrest City, AR and Kenyata (Drewcilla) Brown of Little Rock, AR; one grandson who was the joy of his life, Keivon Brown, also of Forrest City, AR; siblings Walter Hobbs, Raymond Williams, and Letitia (Kevin) Pulley; one aunt, Wilma Johnson; two uncles, James White, Jr. and Sherman White; brothers and sisters in-law, Melvin Williams, Bobbie Russell, Jessie Russell, Ora Russell, Doris (Kem) Austin, and Flora Russell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him.
