In Loving Memory of Bonnie Jean Wallace
December 2, 1956 – July 11, 2025
Bonita (Bonnie) Wallace passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 2, 1956 to Thomas and Gladys Sheldon in Vancouver, Washington. Bonnie was the oldest of five children.
Bonnie spent much of her life in Vancouver before moving to Arizona. She loved the desert but felt the Northwest calling and moved to Spokane with Kevin in 2011. They built a house on 20 acres in Rice and moved there full time in 2016. She enjoyed spending time in her gardens, canning and drying all the produce. Bonnie turned that produce into many wonderful meals and was gifted at crafts such as knitting, crocheting, and soap making.
Bonnie wore many different hats during her career, including human resources analyst, engineering technician, aerobics instructor, and meter maid. Her true delight in life came from spending time with her family. She greatly enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, snow sports, picking huckleberries, and finding treasures on the beach. She also liked a good road trip and traveling to fun places like Italy and Costa Rica.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Kevin; her three children Jeremy, Jessica, and Sarah, and her six grandchildren.
She was a member of the Community Bible Fellowship and loved attending church services, reading the Bible, and fellowshipping with her many friends. Bonnie Wallace was a caring and compassionate woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of life for Bonnie Wallace will be held on August 16, 2025, 11:00 am. at the Columbia River Bible Church located at 1086 North Highway 395 Kettle Falls. Lunch will be provided, following the service.
