Bonnie Gage Obituary

Bonnie Ruth (Stegall) Gage, a lifelong resident of Upshur County, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024, at the age of 98, in Gilmer, Texas. Bonnie was born on March 10, 1926, to William Harvey Stegall and Iva Myrtie (Creamer) Stegall in Big Sandy, Texas.

For many years, Bonnie owned her own beauty shop, where she not only showcased her skills but also formed lasting relationships with her clients. Bonnie was a talented artist and had a passion for painting and drawing. She was also a member of Pritchett Church of Christ for many years.

Bonnie is survived by her loving sons, Eddie Stegall and wife Carolyn, and Carl "Buzz" Henry Gage; brother, Billy Stegall; along with 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James "Kenny" Gage, her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Neil Gage and Jane Gage.

Visitation will be held on August 26, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas. The funeral service will take place on August 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM, also at Croley Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
