Bonnie Harms, age 83 of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at West Bend Health and Rehabilitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday, June 26, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish - Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and livestreamed via Lentz Funeral Home's website: https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/bonnie-harms. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Burial will take place at the West Bend Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Lentz Funeral Home of West Bend.
Bonnie Kay Weydert, the daughter of Anton "Tony" and Margaret (Fisch) Weydert, was born on June 19, 1942 in Algona, Iowa. She graduated from Bishop Garrigan High School in 1958. On April 28, 1962 she was united in marriage with James Donald Harms at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe. She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Ladies Aid. Bonnie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making rosaries and decades of riding snowmobiles especially in Yellowstone.
Left to cherish Bonnie's memory are her daughters, Annette Girres of West Bend and Sherrie Wagner of Whittemore; grandchildren, Andrea (Jordan) Berte, Dustin (Jenny) Girres, Kayla (Ross) Winkelhorst, Alli (Jake) Lundgren and Kody Wagner; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Zack, Luke, Remi, Max, Jax, Eli, Tate, Laney, Calvin, Ava, Kip and Valerie; and siblings, Dwaine (Kathryn) Weydert of Bode and Barb (Dale) Hanish of Mason City. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sons-in-law, Kerry Wagner and Tony Girres.
